Day 311 Allergy Tests

Exercise: Spin class for 50 minutes. Love the class! Spin is a great cardio workout that really strengthens your legs as well.
I was stressed about things today AND hungry so I bought one of my favorite candies at the grocery store only to have to burn it off later in Spin class!
Shame on my for appearing so happy with a candy bar!!
I do love the Heath bar because of the toffee and chocolate!
An additional 200+ calories! What a waste. 

Vince just got the results back from his allergy test and we were so surprised. This was not the test where they stick needles in you to determine what you are allergic to. It was done by a blood test. There are 2 types of tests. This one doesn't show you what you are allergic to due to a reaction you might get. This test lets you know things you are internally allergic to. You would never know you were allergic to these particular foods because they don't have any outside noticeable affects on your body, but might be causing harm internally. Hard to explain. Vince says I'm not really explaining it correctly, but this is how it makes sense to me.

There are 3 categories you can fall into. Low, Moderate, and Avoid. You want to be in the Low category. Vince found himself in the Moderate category with many dairy products such as different cheeses, cow's milk etc. He was horrified to find himself Moderate in almonds, which he eats almost daily and egg whites as well. There were some other interesting finds such as green beans, kidney beans and baker's yeast and casein. Apparently casein is a protein that is very common to be allergic to.

Breakfast: scrambled eggs with lots of zucchini and mushrooms, green tea, grape tomatoes.
Snack: apple slices
Lunch: Subway sandwich: roasted chicken, spinach leaves, tomatoes, pickles, banana peppers, olives, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, water
Snack: Heath candy bar from the grocery store!
Snack: whole carrot, water
Dinner: chicken, broccoli, green beans, sweet potato, water
