Day 284 The Thompson Mansion and Antiques!

Exercise: Walked/Jogged up the great Pennsylvania hills for about 25 minutes.

L.C. Thompson and family owned the house Vince's parents are in. There have only been 2 owners since then. It was known as the Thompson Mansion. He was in the hardware business and used all the best hardward to build the home. I just love all the detail and wood work in the home. There was no electricity, only gas lights. I'll try and get pics of those before we leave tomorrow if I remember. 44 steps to the 3rd floor, a butlers pantry, a library, a large enclosed green room and so many other interesting rooms. I heard there were 21 rooms, but I haven't counted. Wish I had time to take more pics.

Breakfast: 1 boiled egg, oatmeal/quinoa in soymilk, some orange slices, frozen blueberries.
Snack: cashews, water
Lunch: vegetable melody, broccoli, salmon, sweet potato, water
Dinner: pasta salad, water
Late Snack: peanut butter sandwich

Antique traveling trunk it the
left in the attice by
the first owners, The Thompsons.
They would travel the world with
this truck. There are drawers and
hangers inside. From the 1800s!
Very cool!!

Vince's parents old radio. Neat!

Vince and I saw this cute rabbit
on our evening walk.

Do you know the difference between a Donut Peach
and a peach? Here they are. Left: donut shaped peach. Flat.

Ethel (Vince's mom) made a great meal!
Vegetable melody, broccoli, sweet potatoes,
salmon, water. Bite of a fruit bread.

Late dinner.
