Day 275 Road Trip Across America Begins!

So excited to be on my road trip across America (1/2 way anyway). Never "driven" outside of Texas, except as a youngster. Packed healthy "road snacks" so I won't stop at gas stations to buy candy, chips, sodas etc. You know how that goes!

Plan:
Breafasts will be eaten out, but I will only eat egg and oatmeal and tea if available.
Plenty of water bottles
Snacks include apples, grapes, carrots, cherry tomatoes, glutten free crackers, peanut butter, plums, oranges.
Dinners will have to be eaten out. I'll try my best to make good selections with what I have available!
Hoping to exercise somehow everyday, but I'll be in the car for hours each day! This will prove to be a challenge.

Went from Houston, TX to New Orleans LA today. Drove through the French Quarter in the early evening a bit. Lots of July 4th celebrations, bands. Could see the fireworks in the air while leaving. Drove to Biloxi, Mississippi and stayed the night. On way to Atlanta, Georgia next. Final destination: Pennsylvania!

Breakfast: 1 boiled egg, 1/4 oatmeal, green tea
Snacks in car for 6 hours: 1 plum, 1 orange, 1 banana, 1/2 carrot, 1/2 apple, gluten free rice crackers with peanut butter, grape tomatoes, grapes. Never eaten so much fruit at once in my life! Water bottles.
Early Dinner: McDonalds stop: grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce tomato, no mayo or dressing, water
Late night: McDonalds stop: grilled chicken salad with black beans, corn, lettuce, carrots, 1/2 teaspoon of their dressing, water.

Did pretty good eating healthy! Hoping to do the same today!
