Day 283: Road Trip: Another Day in Pottsville

Exercise: Not as much today. Ran up the stairs over and over and Vince's cousin's house a bit.

Pleased that we have been able to get some exercise in this week and a lot of healthy eating while on our trip. I thought it was inevitable that I would gain weight, but so far so good. I also thought I would break down and eat candy etc, but doing well. Couldn't help eating the brownies Vince's mom made me. You have to eat things when they are made for you right?? They were soooo good.

Breakfast: 1 boiled egg, some oatmeal with little soymilk, green tea, blueberries.
Snack: handful of mixed nuts, 1 plum, water
Lunch/Dinner: vegetable medley with eggplant, celery, onions, green and red peppers, carrots, zucchini, tomatoes. Chicken, water, sweet potatoes
Snack: cashew nuts, water
Late Dinner: salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, bell pepper, olive oil, little pasta salad left overs, water, pretzel sticks.

Vince's mom bagging her groceries. At Aldi's
in Pottsville, you move over to the bagging area
and bag your own groceries! The cashier even
sits in a chair while scanning groceries. Funny.

The grocery baskets have a contraption on them where
you insert a quarter. After you shop and return the basket
you will get your quarter back. No baskets are left in their
parking lots at all.

Vince's Dad's 1962 Fleetwood Cadillac. Little mileage.
Sometimes bride and groom would request to use it
for their wedding.  His Dad also had 1949 two-tone
Cadillac as well. Cool stuff! He had it for 13 years.
